When do you need pencil lead refills?
Pencil lead refills are essential when your mechanical pencil runs out and you want to be able to write or draw again. These Mars micro carbon refills from STAEDTLER allow you to keep using your favourite mechanical pencil without having to buy a new one.

Why choose the 0.7 mm thickness?
The 0.7 mm thickness offers an ideal balance between precision and durability. These refills are thicker than the slender 0.5 mm variant, so they are less likely to break while you write. At the same time, they are thin enough for accurate work and everyday writing tasks.

What does HB grade mean?
HB stands for the hardness grade of the graphite and forms the perfect middle ground between hard and soft. These refills produce an even line without applying too much pressure to the paper. They are suitable for everyday writing, taking notes and light drawing work.

Practical tip for use
Always check that your mechanical pencil is suitable for 0.7 mm refills before purchasing them. With 12 refills per tube, you have sufficient supply for long-term use. Store the refills in the box provided to prevent breakage, and make sure your mechanical pencil is clean before inserting new refills.
