When do you need a compact ballpoint pen?
A pocket pen such as the LAMY Pico is ideal when you are often on the move and want a full-sized ballpoint that doesn't take up much room. Thanks to its compact size, this pen easily fits in a trouser pocket, small handbag or purse without the length of a standard ballpoint getting in the way.

Why choose the double-click mechanism?
What makes the LAMY Pico special is its double-click mechanism, which allows you to turn a small pocket pen into a full-size ballpoint with just one finger movement. This means that, despite its compact size, you still enjoy the writing comfort of a regular ballpoint when you extend it.

What does the high-gloss lacquer finish mean?
The white high-gloss lacquer finish gives a sleek, modern look that appears professional in business settings. The smooth surface feels pleasant in the hand and gives the pen a quality appearance, although you should keep in mind that high gloss can be more susceptible to scratches with intensive use.

Practical tip for the refill
This LAMY Pico is supplied with a Compactmine M22 in black. Remember this type number well, as only this specific compact refill fits the pen's mechanism. Standard ballpoint refills are not suitable because of the special double-click mechanism, which is designed to save space.
