When do you need a Cat6 S/FTP network cable?
You use this network cable to connect devices such as computers, printers, switches or routers together via a wired network. Cat6 cables are suitable for fast internet connections and local networks where you need reliable data transfer without interference.

Why choose a 2 metre length?
The 2 metre length is ideal for short distances within office environments. For example, you use this cable to connect your computer to a nearby switch, or to link network components in a server rack together. This length avoids unnecessary excess cable while providing sufficient reach for most desktop setups.

Shielded protection against interference
The S/FTP shielding (shielded PIMF) protects your network connection against electromagnetic interference from other devices. This is especially important in office environments with a lot of electronic equipment. The copper conductors with AWG 27/7 specification ensure stable signal transmission, while the gold-plated contacts offer corrosion resistance for long-lasting reliability.

Practical details for installation
The green colour of the cable boot helps in identifying specific connections in complex network setups. The cable has a 1:1 wiring, which means both ends are wired identically – standard for ordinary network connections. The LSZH sheath produces less smoke when heated, which is safer in office environments. The RJ45 connectors are shielded and have moulded boots for extra durability.
