When do you need a shielded network cable?
This Cat6 S/FTP network cable is what you use when you need reliable network connections in environments with a lot of electronic equipment. The shielded design (PIMF) protects against electromagnetic interference that can occur with printers, servers or other office equipment near your network connection.

Why choose the 1 metre length?
At 1 metre, this cable is ideal for short connections between devices that are close together. For example, you can use it to connect a computer directly to a switch, or to connect a printer to a nearby router. The short length means you won't end up with a tangle of cables on your desk.

What does the Cat6 S/FTP specification mean?
This cable has a Cat6 rating with S/FTP shielding, in which each wire pair is individually shielded (PIMF) and the whole cable bundle has additional protection. The 4x2 AWG 27/7 copper conductors and 1:1 wiring ensure stable data transmission. This offers more protection than standard UTP cables, which is especially useful in office environments with a lot of electronic interference.

Practical details for optimal use
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and ensure a better connection. The blue strain relief prevents damage when plugging in. Make sure both devices support Cat6 to get the most out of the specifications. The LSZH sheath ensures that fewer toxic fumes are released when heated.
