When do you need a Cat 6A network cable?
This professional network cable is used for connecting devices in your network where high speeds and reliability are essential. Cat 6A cables support higher frequencies than standard Cat 6 cables and are suitable for demanding applications such as servers, switches and professional workstations. You need this cable when you want to connect devices over a longer distance without loss of speed.

Why choose a 20 metre length?
At 20 metres, you have enough length to connect devices in different rooms or to route cables neatly along walls and through cable trays. This length gives you flexibility when setting up your network without having to join multiple cables. It is a practical choice for office environments where you need to run cables from a central cabinet to workstations in adjacent rooms.

Why S/FTP shielding matters
The S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding with PIMF technology protects your signal against electromagnetic interference from other devices and cables. This double shielding keeps your network connection stable, even in environments with a lot of electrical equipment. The copper conductors with AWG 26/7 specification guarantee reliable signal transmission.

Practical details for installation
The cable has gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and ensure a long-lasting connection. The LSZH sheath produces fewer toxic gases when heated, which is important in office environments. The 1:1 belegung (pin assignment) means both ends are wired identically, which is standard for direct device connections. Make sure both devices support Cat 6A to get the most out of the cable's specifications.
