When do you need special acrylic paper?
This acrylic paper pad has been developed for artists who work with acrylic paint and are looking for an alternative to canvas. Acrylic paint has different properties from watercolour or oil paint and therefore requires a paper that can withstand the heavy texture and fast drying process of this type of paint.

Why choose this size and thickness?
At 180 × 240 mm, this pad offers a handy A5-like format that is perfect for studies, sketches and smaller artworks. The thick 400 g/m² paper can bear the weight of multiple layers of paint without tearing or warping, which is essential when working with acrylic paint.

Linen texture for authentic painting results
The paper has a linen texture, a special structure that imitates the texture of real canvas. This rougher surface ensures that acrylic paint adheres better, and you can work with undiluted, highly opaque layers of paint just as you would on canvas. The acid-free paper prevents discolouration and yellowing over the long term.

Practical tip for optimal use
The pad is glued along the short side, which means you can easily tear off the sheets without damaging the sheet underneath. Always start with a dry brush to feel the linen texture and adapt your techniques accordingly. Thanks to the 400 g/m² thickness, you can even work with palette knife and impasto techniques without the paper becoming saturated.
