What does this watercolour block do?
Watercolour paper is specially designed to absorb watercolour paint without curling or tearing. You need this type of paper when working with watercolour paint, aquarelle or other liquid techniques. The thick paper ensures that the paint flows beautifully and that the paper retains its shape.

Why choose A3 format?
At 297 x 420 mm, this A3 format offers more than twice the working surface of A4. This larger format gives you the freedom to create more elaborate compositions and add more detail. It is ideal for landscapes, portraits or when you prefer to work on a larger scale without being limited by the paper size.

The strength of 300 gram paper
The paper weight of 300 g/m² makes this a sturdy medium paper that is well able to withstand water. This weight absorbs sufficient moisture without buckling, yet is still suitable for beginners getting used to watercolour techniques. The fine surface texture ensures an even spread of paint without too much texture.

Practical tip for use
The block is glued along the short side, which means you tear the sheets off from the top. This provides stability while painting, as the paper remains attached on three sides. Always work from top to bottom and only tear off a new sheet once your work is completely dry. With 30 sheets, you have enough paper for an extended creative period.
