When do you choose Mi-Teintes drawing paper?
Mi-Teintes drawing paper is specially developed for dry drawing techniques such as pastel, charcoal, graphite and coloured pencil. You choose this paper when you are working on artworks that need a paper with grip to hold pigments well. The anthracite grey paper offers a neutral, dark background that is particularly suitable for portraits and dramatic artworks.

Why choose this size and colour?
The 500 × 650 mm format gives you ample space for medium-sized drawings without limiting your composition. The anthracite grey colour (colour 184) is ideal when you want to apply both light and dark accents in your work. On this neutral tone, white highlights stand out especially well, while dark shadows blend naturally into the paper colour.

The texture that takes your work to the next level
This paper has the characteristic double-sided surface of Mi-Teintes: one side with a fine grain and the other side with a more pronounced texture. The weight of 160 g/m² provides enough sturdiness to work intensively without the paper curling or tearing when using different drawing materials.

Practical storage and use
You receive 10 sheets in a pack, which is handy for a series of drawings or for experimenting with different techniques. Store the paper flat and dry to prevent warping. Canson is known for the colour fastness of its papers, so your anthracite grey background remains stable without fading over time.
