What is this drawing paper for, and when do you need it?
CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper has been specially developed for a range of drawing techniques. With a weight of 160 g/m², it provides a sturdy base for creative projects in pencil, charcoal, ink and tempera paint. You choose this paper when you're working on drawings that need more body and structure than ordinary copy paper can offer.

Why choose this size and colour?
The 500×650 mm format gives you room for medium to large drawings without being limited by small dimensions. The grass green colour creates a natural, warm background that is particularly suitable for portraits, landscapes or artistic studies where you want to use the colour of the paper as part of your composition.

Suitable paper weight for dry techniques
The weight of 160 g/m² means the paper is sturdy enough to handle dry media such as pencil, charcoal, drawing chalk and wax crayon without tearing or showing through. This makes it ideal when you're experimenting with different dry materials or using techniques that apply more pressure to the paper.

Practical packaging for regular use
The pack of 10 sheets is handy for artists who draw regularly but don't want to buy large stocks straight away. The paper stays neatly protected, and you have enough for a series of drawings or for trying out different techniques on the same type of surface.
