When do you use a watercolour pad?
A watercolour pad is essential when you work with watercolour paint, gouache or acrylic paint. The paper has been specially developed to absorb moisture without tearing or warping. You need this for all wet techniques in which water plays an important role in your artwork.

Why choose this A4 format?
At 210×297 mm, you get the handy A4 format, which is perfect for studies, sketches and medium-sized artworks. This format offers enough space for detailed work without being too large for your workspace. The 12 sheets give you plenty of paper to experiment and create several works.

The benefit of 300 g/m² paper weight
The paper weight of 300 g/m² ensures that the paper is sturdy enough for watercolour without bleeding through. This weight absorbs moisture well and dries flat, so your watercolour work won't buckle. The paper is also acid-free and treated against mould, which benefits the longevity of your artworks.

Practical working benefits
The pad is glued on the short side, which means you keep the paper taut while you work. As a result, your work stays flat and you avoid unwanted distortion caused by moisture. The paper has a fine surface texture that is suitable for all wet techniques and allows you to make corrections while you work.
