When do you need special acrylic paper?
This sketchbook has been specifically developed for acrylic paint and offers an alternative to canvas. You choose this paper when you want to work with acrylic paint but still enjoy the benefits of paper: it is lighter than canvas, easier to store, and you can paint on it straight away without any preparation.

Why this A4 variant with a linen texture?
The A4 format makes this pad ideal for studies, sketches and smaller acrylic works. The linen texture imitates the surface of real canvas and gives your acrylic paint more grip than smooth paper. This creates an authentic painting experience while still retaining the practical advantages of paper.

How the thick 400g/m² paper works
The heavy paper weight of 400g/m² is crucial for acrylic work. This thick paper absorbs moisture from the paint without curling or tearing, even when you work with undiluted, opaque layers of paint. The paper stays flat, which is essential for a professional result.

Practical benefits of the short-edge gluing
The pad is glued along the short edge, so the sheet stays firmly in place while you paint. Once dry, you can easily tear the artwork off the pad without damaging the edges. The acid-free paper ensures that your work will not discolour over time.
