When do you need water-soluble coloured pencils?
Water-soluble coloured pencils are ideal when you want to combine the precision of coloured pencils with the flowing effects of watercolour paint. With these Supracolor pencils, you can first draw as ordinary coloured pencils and then create watercolour effects with water and a brush. This makes them perfect for art projects where you want to mix different techniques.

Why choose a set of 40 colours?
With 40 different colours, you have an extensive palette for both basic and specialised colour applications. This quantity offers sufficient variety for professional artworks and creative projects without having to buy more straight away.

What does the soft core of 3.8 mm mean?
The soft core provides rich colour laydown and blends easily with water. The lead diameter of 3.8 mm is thicker than standard pencils, so you can create both fine details and broad areas of colour. Thanks to the soft composition, you get intense colours that dissolve well when activated with water.

Practical details for use
The hexagonal shape of the cedarwood prevents rolling on your work surface and sits comfortably in the hand. For the best watercolour effects, use a clean, damp brush and work from light to dark when activating the colours.
