When do you need a Cat. 6A patch cable?
A patch cable is used to connect network equipment such as computers, switches or routers to each other. Cat. 6A cables are suitable for professional networks where you need high speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s. This cable is ideal if you are upgrading existing infrastructure or connecting new high-speed links.

Why choose this slim design?
With a diameter of just 3.8 mm, this cable is considerably thinner than standard patch cables. This slim and flexible design makes it easier to route the cable through tight spaces and ensures a neater cable layout in your server room or under your desk. The flexibility also prevents kinking and damage during installation.

F/FTP shielding for stable connections
This cable features F/FTP shielding, meaning there is a foil screen around the entire cable as well as around each wire pair. This offers excellent protection against electromagnetic interference, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment. The shielding ensures you can make full use of the 10 Gbit/s transmission speed without signal loss.

Practical details for use
The cable operates at a frequency of 500 MHz and is fitted with standard RJ45 connectors that fit all common network equipment. The yellow colour makes the cable easy to identify in your network configuration. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath provides safety in buildings where fire safety is important, as less toxic fumes are released when heated.
