What does a lever arch file do, and when do you need one?

A lever arch file is the practical choice when you want to bring loose documents together quickly and neatly without punching or binding them. You use one when you want to keep a stack of papers together in a fixed order, for example for project files, meeting documents or administrative folders that you consult regularly.

Why this format is the right choice

This lever arch file is made in A4 format, measuring 240 x 320 mm, which matches the standard document size used in most office and home office environments. The turquoise colour also makes it easy to tell different files apart when you are working with multiple projects or categories.

The locking mechanism and capacity, honestly assessed

The built-in lever mechanism keeps your documents firmly in place without any extra tools. The capacity is up to 350 sheets, which means you can fit a considerable amount of paper into a single lever arch file. Do keep in mind that this is the maximum capacity; with regular use the mechanism will continue to work more smoothly if you do not fill the file to the brim.

Material and durability in practice

The cover is made of coated Colorspan board weighing 355 g/m², which gives a sturdy casing that withstands daily use. This board is heavier than standard folder card, so the lever arch file holds its shape better, even when you take it out of a drawer or archive regularly. Store the lever arch file upright in a filing cabinet to keep the mechanism in good condition for as long as possible.
