What does a quick-hinge folder do and when do you need one?

A quick-hinge folder is indispensable when you want to gather loose documents quickly and neatly without punching holes in them or placing them in a ring binder. The built-in heaving mechanism clamps papers in place straight away, so you can add or retrieve them quickly. That makes this product ideal for project files, invoices, meeting documents or other papers you consult regularly.

Why this A4 format with a cardboard cover?

This model comes in the standard A4 format, measuring 240 x 320 mm, which fits perfectly with standard A4 documents and folders. The cover is made from coated Colorspan card of 355 g/m², so the folder feels sturdier than a thin plastic version and keeps its shape even when the file is well filled. That makes it suitable for both desk use and storage in an archive.

An honest picture of the capacity

The heaving mechanism has room for up to 350 sheets of paper, which amounts to a substantial file. Bear in mind that with thicker paper or documents with multiple pages you will reach the limit sooner. For light to medium-heavy files, however, this capacity is more than sufficient and you won't need to reach for a second folder quickly.

Practical tip for use and identification

The violet colour of this quick-hinge folder makes colour coding easy: you can give different subjects or projects their own colour, so you can grab the right file at a glance. EXACOMPTA produces this quick-hinge folder under reference number 39998E, which is handy if you want to reorder multiple copies in the same or other colours for a consistent filing system.
