What does this fineliner do and when do you need it?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional fineliner specially developed for drawing and illustration. You need this pen when you want to create permanent line drawings that will not fade or run. Thanks to the pigmented drawing ink, you get intense black lines that are suitable for artistic projects, technical drawings or detailed work.

Why choose this 0.5 mm variant?
With the 0.5 mm line width, you are right between fine detail work and clearly visible lines. This width is ideal for general drawing work where you want to create both details and firm outlines. The metal nib ensures consistent line quality and lasts longer than plastic nibs.

Permanent properties for durable results
This fineliner contains pigmented drawing ink that is waterproof and permanent. This means your drawings will not run when they come into contact with water or other liquids. The ink is also highly lightfast, so your work will not fade when exposed to sunlight. The acid-free composition ensures that the paper is not damaged.

Practical usage tip
The pen has a cap with a clip, so you can easily attach it to your sketchbook or pocket. Thanks to the odourless ink, you can work for long periods without any annoying smells. Store the pen horizontally or with the nib pointing downwards to maintain optimal ink flow, and always replace the cap firmly to prevent it from drying out.
