This is why Dex likes this article
This versatile marker writes sharply on CDs, DVDs and overhead sheets. Water-based, so it's easy to erase, while the metal tip ensures durable use.
When do you choose this product?
What does the MULTIMARK M marker do?
This non-permanent marker is specially developed for labelling CDs, DVDs and overhead transparencies. Thanks to its water-soluble formula, you can remove text and markings again without permanent damage to your media. The marker dries within a few seconds, so you can carry on with your work straight away.
Why choose the 1.0 mm tip?
With a line width of approximately 1.0 mm, this marker offers the ideal balance between legibility and precision. The metal tip ensures a stable and durable writing experience, while still giving you enough control to write titles and labels on your CDs and DVDs.
Clear and sharp results
The ink is bright and rich in colour, so your text is clearly visible and vibrant, even on reflective surfaces such as CDs. Thanks to its sharp-edged properties, you get neat, crisply defined lines without the ink bleeding.
Practical tip for use
This marker is specifically suitable for CD/DVD surfaces and overhead transparencies. Do not use it on other materials where permanent markings are desired. Thanks to the quick drying time, you avoid smudges on your fingers, but always test first in an inconspicuous spot whether the ink can actually be removed from the specific surface you wish to use.

Dex knows - user tips
No hazard statements have been provided. Now the usage tip: the Faber-Castell Multimark 151499 is a waterproof OHP/CD/DVD marker. A well-known usage tip for this type of marker is that the ink on smooth surfaces (such as CDs/DVDs and transparencies) needs to dry before you touch the surface — the product description confirms this ("sekundenschnell trocken", meaning "dries in seconds"), which indicates that quick drying is a deliberate feature. That is a relevant usage tip.
Allow the ink to dry completely before touching or stacking the written surface, even though the marker dries within a few seconds.
