What does this marker do and when do you need it?
This Faber-Castell MULTIMARK F is a special non-permanent marker that you use for writing on CDs, DVDs and OHP transparencies. You need it when you want to label optical discs without causing damage, or when you want to write on transparent sheets for presentations.

Why this fine 0.8 mm variant?
The fine 0.8 mm tip produces sharp-edged lines, so you can write precisely in the limited space of a CD label. This line width is ideal for noting down titles, dates or other important information without the text bleeding or becoming illegible.

The advantage of non-permanent, water-soluble ink
The ink is water-soluble, which means you can wipe away or correct your notes later. This is especially handy for rewritable CDs or DVDs whose contents you change regularly. At the same time, the ink dries within seconds, so you can handle it straight away without smudging it.

Practical tip for use
This marker has been specially developed as a CD/DVD marker and has a metal tip that will not damage the disc. Only use it on the label side of optical discs, never on the underside where the data is stored. For OHP transparencies, you can simply use the marker on both sides without any problems.
