What does this brush pen do?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional brush pen with pigment-based drawing ink. You use this pen for artistic drawings, illustrations and calligraphy where you want permanent, lightfast results. Thanks to its special composition, the ink is waterproof and colourfast, so your work stays beautiful for years.

Why choose the brush tip?
This variant has a brush tip that allows variable line widths from 1.0 to 5.0 mm. You can create both fine details and broader areas by varying the pressure and angle of the pen. This makes the pen ideal for expressive drawing styles, watercolour techniques and lettering where you want to create different line thicknesses in a single stroke.

Advantages of the pigment ink
The pigmented drawing ink is acid-free and odourless, which is important for long-term drawing and archiving your artworks. The permanent nature means your drawings will not fade or discolour, even when in contact with water or other materials. This makes the pen suitable for mixed media techniques and professional use.

Practical details for use
The cobalt turquoise colour (code 153) offers a unique blue tone that combines well with other colours in your drawings. The pen has a clip on the cap for convenient storage and transport. Store the pen horizontally or with the tip pointing downwards to maintain optimal ink flow, and make sure the cap is always firmly closed to prevent drying out.
