What does this brush pen do?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional brush pen specially developed for artistic applications. Thanks to the pigmented drawing ink, you can create permanent, waterproof lines and areas. This pen is ideal for drawing, illustrating, calligraphy and mixed media projects where you need durable results.

Why choose the brush tip?
The brush tip gives you the flexibility to create both fine lines of 1.0 mm and broad strokes up to 5.0 mm by varying the pressure and angle of the pen. This makes the pen perfect for expressive drawings where you want to combine different line widths without switching pens. The warm grey colour (274) offers a soft, natural tone that combines well with other colours.

Permanent and lightfast properties
The pigmented drawing ink is highly lightfast, meaning your artworks will not fade when exposed to light. The ink is waterproof and permanent, so you can apply other media over it without the underlying drawing bleeding through. In addition, the ink is acid-free and odourless, which is important for archiving and working in enclosed spaces.

Practical usage tip
The pen has a handy clip on the cap, so you can easily attach it to your sketchbook or clothing. For the best results, work on paper with a smooth to lightly textured surface. Store the pen horizontally and always close it properly to prevent it from drying out.
