When do you need a brush tip drawing pen?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional drawing pen filled with pigmented drawing ink. You use this type of pen for artistic drawings, illustrations and calligraphy where you need variable line widths. Thanks to the brush tip, you can create both fine details and broader areas in a single stroke.

Why choose the brush tip variant?
This pen has a flexible brush tip with which you can make line widths from 1.0 to 5.0 mm. The brush tip responds to the pressure you apply, allowing you to draw expressive lines that vary from thin to thick. This makes it more ideal for artistic work than pens with fixed tips.

Permanent and lightfast properties
The ink is waterproof, permanent and highly lightfast, which means your drawings will not fade when exposed to light or moisture. The ink is also acid-free and odourless, making it suitable for long-term use without irritation. These properties make the pen suitable for artworks you wish to keep for a long time.

Practical details for use
The pen is fitted with a clip on the cap for easy transport and storage. Colour code 157 stands for dark indigo, a deep blue-purple shade. For optimal use, store the pen horizontally to prevent drying out, and make sure the cap is firmly closed after use.
