What is coloured card used for?

Coloured card is indispensable when you want to make craft projects, presentation materials or decorative applications for which ordinary paper is simply too flimsy. Thanks to its heavier weight of 180 g/m², the sheet has enough sturdiness to stand on its own or to serve as a base for elements stuck onto it. That makes it suitable for school projects as well as creative work at the office or at home.

Why this size and this colour?

A4 size matches the most widely used paper standard, so you can easily cut, fold or combine this card with other A4 material. The colour hibiscus, a vibrant pink-red shade, catches the eye straight away and is therefore well suited to invitations, cards or eye-catching backgrounds. Because the colour runs right through the thickness of the card, cut or torn edges stay neatly coloured.

Coloured through and acid-free: what does that mean in practice?

Coloured-through card retains its colour along the edges and in case of minor damage, giving a neat finish. The acid-free material means the card is less likely to yellow or crumble over the long term, which is useful if you want to keep your work. This is particularly relevant for archive folders, school assignments or decorations you don't want to throw away straight after.

Practical tip for use

A pack of 100 sheets gives you enough material for several projects in a row without quickly running through your stock. Please note that, because of its 180 g/m² weight, this card is not suitable for most standard inkjet or laser printers; it is intended for manual use such as cutting, sticking and drawing.
