When do you need an extension rack?
An extension rack is used to expand an existing shelving system without having to buy a completely new shelving unit. This Kerkmann Progress 500 extension rack is ideal when you are running short of archive space and want to enlarge your current shelving system. It works together with a base rack to create a continuous shelving wall.

Why choose these dimensions?
With dimensions of 960 x 600 x 1900 mm, this rack offers exactly 5 folder heights, which fits perfectly with standard archive boxes and ring binders. The height of 1900 mm means you can reach all the shelves without a step stool, while making the most of the available space. The depth of 600 mm easily accommodates A4 documents.

Load capacity and stability
Each shelf supports up to 80 kg, and the complete shelving bay has a maximum load capacity of 500 kg. This means you can store heavy archive boxes, ring binders and office supplies without worry. The boltless slot system made of furniture steel ensures a sturdy construction that will last for years, even with intensive use.

Practical assembly feature
The slot system works without screws, so you can set up the rack quickly and easily and take it apart again if needed. The shelves are height-adjustable, so you can adapt the layout to different document sizes or office supplies. Please note: this is an extension rack without a back panel, so you need an existing base rack to use this system.
