When do you need an extension rack?
An extension rack is used to expand existing storage space without purchasing a completely new shelving system. This Kerkmann Progress 500 extension rack is ideal when your current office rack offers insufficient capacity for growing archive needs. You simply attach it to an existing base rack from the same series.

Why choose these dimensions?
With dimensions of 750×300×1900 mm, this rack offers exactly 5 folder heights spread over 6 shelves. The width of 75 cm provides enough space to store folders and documents neatly. The depth of 30 cm is specifically matched to standard A4 formats and folders, allowing you to make optimal use of the available space.

Practical load capacity and stability
Each shelf supports up to 60 kg, which is roughly 20-25 filled folders per level. The entire shelving unit has a maximum load capacity of 500 kg, so you can safely store heavy archives. The screwless plug-in system made of furniture steel guarantees a sturdy construction that withstands daily office use.

Flexible height adjustment and assembly
The shelves are height-adjustable, so you can adapt the layout to different document formats or storage boxes. The plug-in system works without tools and makes assembly easy. Please note that this is an extension rack without a back panel, so you need a compatible base rack from the Progress 500 series to complete the system.
