When do you need an extension unit?
An extension unit lets you expand your existing Progress 500 shelving system without having to buy a complete new rack. It is the most cost-effective way to create extra storage space in your office or archive. The extension unit shares a side panel with the base unit, so you make the most of the available space.

Why choose these dimensions?
With a width of 960 mm and a depth of 300 mm, this rack offers exactly 5 binder heights per shelf, meaning standard ring binders and lever arch files fit perfectly. The height of 1900 mm ensures you make optimal use of vertical space without the rack becoming too tall for everyday use.

Flexibility with height-adjustable shelves
The 6 shelves are height-adjustable, so you can perfectly adapt the rack to different types of documents and office supplies. Each shelf supports up to 60 kg, and the complete shelving bay has a total load capacity of 500 kg. This makes it suitable for heavy archive folders and large quantities of documents.

Practical assembly without screws
The screwless plug-in system ensures quick and easy assembly without any tools. You place the extension unit directly against your existing Progress 500 base unit. Please note that this specific model has no back panel, which provides better accessibility but means you need a stable base unit to attach it to.
