What is a basic shelving unit and when do you need one?
A basic shelving unit is a freestanding office shelving system used for storing documents, folders and office supplies. You need this type of rack if you want to create a new storage solution or start an existing shelving system. This kerkmann basic shelving unit provides a complete storage unit straight away, without the need for any additional components.

Why these dimensions and capacity?
With dimensions of 750×600×1900 mm, this rack fits perfectly in standard office environments without taking up too much space. The height of 1900 mm ensures you can easily reach all the shelves. The capacity of 80 kg per shelf and a total load capacity of 500 kg per shelf bay make it suitable for heavy binders, boxes and office materials.

Advantages of the boltless plug-in system
This rack works with a boltless plug-in system, so you can assemble it quickly and easily without tools. The shelves are height-adjustable, allowing you to adapt the layout to different folder sizes and materials. The absence of a back panel makes the rack accessible from both sides and ensures good ventilation.

Practical storage tip for optimal use
The shelves are suitable for 5 folder heights, which means you can place standard A4 folders perfectly. Distribute the weight evenly across the shelves and place the heaviest items on the lower shelves for optimum stability. With its light grey RAL 7035 colour, the rack blends neutrally into any office interior.
