When do you need a typewriter ribbon?
A typewriter ribbon is used for classic typewriters and calculators that still operate with a ribbon mechanism. These machines require a physical ribbon that prints the letters onto paper through mechanical striking. If you still work with vintage office equipment or want to maintain collector's pieces, a replacement ribbon is essential for functionality.

Why choose the group 1 format?
This typewriter ribbon measures 13 mm wide by 10 metres long and falls under the group 1 classification. This standard size fits a wide range of typewriters and calculators from various brands. The nylon material ensures durable prints and a longer lifespan compared to cotton ribbons.

Checking compatibility with your machine
This ribbon works with dozens of machine models from well-known brands such as Brother, Facit, Olivetti, Olympia, Royal and Triumph/Adler. You can recognise compatible models by their specific type numbers listed in the list. Always check your exact model before ordering, as typewriters often use different ribbon sizes.

Practical installation tip
When replacing the ribbon, pay attention to the correct placement of the ribbon spools in your machine. The OEM reference number G001NYS helps you identify the right replacement product. Keep the packaging with this number for future orders, so you always order the correct format.
