When do you need a Cat. 6 network cable?
You use a Cat. 6 network cable to connect devices such as computers, printers, switches or routers together over a wired network. You choose this cable when you want a stable, fast internet connection without the variations that WiFi can have. The 2.0 metre length is ideal for short to medium distances in office or home environments.

Why choose the U/UTP variant?
This unshielded (U/UTP) cable is perfect for standard office environments where no extreme electromagnetic interference occurs. The 1:1 wiring ensures that both ends are connected identically, so you can use the cable in either direction. This makes installation simpler and prevents connection errors.

What does the AWG 24/7 specification mean?
The AWG 24/7 indicates that each conductor consists of 7 thin copper strands of gauge 24. This construction with a CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium) conductor offers sufficient conductivity for Cat. 6 performance at a competitive price. The PVC sheath protects the internal wiring against wear during daily use.

Practical details for use
The gold-plated contacts in the RJ45 plugs prevent corrosion and ensure a long-lasting, reliable connection. The strain relief prevents cable breakage at the plugs, a common problem with intensive use. The cable features clear printing showing the category and cable type, useful for identification in a network cabinet or during troubleshooting.
