When do you need a Cat. 6 network cable?
Use this network cable to connect devices such as computers, printers, switches and routers together over a wired network. Cat. 6 cables are suitable for modern office environments where you need stable internet connections and fast data transfer between devices.

Why choose this 5-metre length?
With 5 metres you have sufficient reach for most office connections without unnecessary excess cable. This length is ideal for connections between your workstation and a nearby switch, or between devices a few metres apart. The red colour makes the cable easy to identify in your cable management.

Reliable connection thanks to gold-plated contacts
This cable has gold-plated contacts in the RJ45 connectors, which ensure better conductivity and protection against corrosion. The contacts are also recessed in the housing, so they are mechanically better protected against damage when frequently plugging and unplugging.

Note the cable construction
This cable uses CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium) conductors instead of solid copper conductors. CCA is a cost-effective solution suitable for standard office use, but performs less well than pure copper over longer distances. For connections up to 5 metres in a normal office environment, this causes no problems. The cable has a 1:1 pin assignment, meaning all eight wires are connected straight through.
