When do you use a Cat. 8.1 network cable?
Cat. 8.1 network cables are designed for the most demanding network connections where extremely high speeds are required. You choose this cable when you need to connect professional equipment such as servers, switches or high-end workstations. The 3 metre length offers sufficient flexibility for connections within a server room or between nearby devices.

Why shielded S/FTP design?
This cable uses PIMF shielding (Pairs in Metal Foil), which means that each wire pair is individually shielded. This provides maximum protection against electromagnetic interference that can occur in environments with a lot of electronic equipment. The double shielding ensures stable data transmission, even in professional environments with a lot of interference.

LSZH jacket for safe installation
The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket is specially developed for professional installations. When heated, this jacket produces little smoke and no toxic halogens, which is important for safety in office buildings and data centres. The gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion and guarantee a reliable connection over a longer period.

Practical installation features
The RJ45 connectors are fully shielded and have moulded hoods that provide extra protection against mechanical stress. The black strain relief prevents cable breakage when bending. The category and cable type are clearly printed on the cable, which is useful for identification during installation and maintenance of your network infrastructure.
