When do you need a Cat. 5e network cable?
A Cat. 5e network cable is used to connect devices to each other via a wired network. You need this cable when you want to connect a computer, printer, switch or router to your network. The 1:1 wiring ensures that the cable is suitable for direct connections between network equipment.

Why choose the 2.0 metre length?
At 2.0 metres, you have enough length for most office connections without unnecessary excess cable. This length is ideal for connections between your workstation and a nearby switch, or between network equipment that is relatively close together. The green colour makes the cable easy to identify in your cable management.

Unshielded construction for standard applications
This U/UTP cable is unshielded, meaning it is suitable for normal office environments without extreme electromagnetic interference. The AWG 26/7 wire specification and CCA conductor ensure reliable data transmission in standard network applications. The gold-plated contacts in the RJ45 plugs prevent corrosion and guarantee a stable connection.

Practical details for use
The moulded boot protects the connector from damage, and the green strain relief prevents cable breakage at the plug. Please note that this is an unshielded cable - only use it in environments without heavy electrical equipment that could cause interference. The cable print states the category and type, which is useful for later identification and maintenance of your network.
