When do you need a Cat. 8.1 patch cable?
A Cat. 8.1 patch cable is used for the fastest and most stable internet connections in professional environments. You need this cable when connecting equipment that requires very high data speeds, such as servers, switches or advanced network equipment. This 2-metre length is ideal for connections within server cabinets or between equipment that is located close together.

Why shielded S/FTP design?
This cable has double shielding (S/FTP) that effectively blocks electromagnetic interference. The shielded RJ45 connectors with extended housing ensure a stable connection without interference. This is essential in environments with a lot of electronic equipment, where unshielded cables can cause performance problems.

LSZH jacket for safe use
The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket produces no toxic fumes when heated, making this cable suitable for use in office buildings and data centres. The gold-plated contacts prevent corrosion and guarantee a durable connection. The black strain relief boot protects the cable from damage when bent.

Compatibility and identification
This cable works with all standard network equipment that has RJ45 ports. The cable print clearly shows the category and cable type, so you always know which cable you are using. The 1:1 wiring (straight-through) makes the cable suitable for connecting different devices such as a computer to a switch or a router to a modem.
