When do you need refill colours?
Refill colours such as this ultramarine blue are essential when a colour in your paint set runs out or has dried up. This Pelikan refill colour ensures your paint set is complete again, so you don't have to stop painting or drawing because an important base colour is missing.

Why specifically ultramarine blue number 120?
Ultramarine blue is a widely used primary colour that you need for mixing purple shades and various blue nuances. With the specific number code 120, you can be sure you get exactly the same colour as in your original paint set, preventing colour differences.

Suitable for standard school paint sets
This refill colour has been specially developed for Pelikan standard school watercolour sets with the standard grey colour pans. The paint consistency and composition are tailored for use in educational settings, where children learn to work with watercolour and colour mixing techniques.

Check compatibility with your paint set
Check whether your paint set indeed has the standard grey colour pans for which this refill colour is intended. The product code has recently changed from 807990 120 to 400142603, but both refer to the same product. Store refill colours at room temperature and make sure the lid closes properly to prevent drying out.
