When should you choose a pigment marker?
Pigment markers are ideal when you need permanent, opaque colours that remain clearly visible on a variety of surfaces. This POSCA marker uses pigment ink instead of regular ink, so you can draw and write on paper, card, metal, plastic and glass. You need this marker for projects where ordinary felt-tip pens don't cover well or fade quickly.

Why choose the PC-3M variant?
This PC-3M version has a round tip that draws lines between 0.9 and 1.3 mm wide. This line width sits exactly between fine detail work and bold markings. You can use it to write small text and colour in medium-sized areas without it being too fine or too coarse.

The benefits of pigment ink
The pigment in this marker gives an opaque, matt finish that doesn't bleed through paper and adheres well to smooth surfaces. Unlike ordinary pens, the lilac colour stays bright and doesn't fade quickly in the light. The ink is permanent on rough surfaces.

Practical tip for optimal use
Always shake the marker well before use and press the tip onto test paper a few times until the ink flows evenly. Store the marker horizontally with the cap firmly in place to prevent it from drying out. On glass, you can still wipe the ink away until it has dried.
