When should you choose professional oil paint?
Oil paint is the choice of artists who want to work with a medium that dries slowly and has excellent blending properties. You use oil paint when you want time to mix colours on the canvas, refine details or create soft transitions. This paint suits both beginners who want to learn classic painting techniques and experienced artists aiming for professional results.

Why choose king's blue in the 40 ml size?
King's blue is an essential colour in every artist's palette and forms the basis for mixing many other blues and violets. The 40 ml size offers enough paint for several paintings without having to build up a large stock. This tube size is practical for artists who paint regularly but do not work with this particular colour every day.

What does the even viscosity mean?
The even viscosity ensures that the paint comes out of the tube consistently and behaves predictably while you paint. You notice this in the way the paint spreads across your palette and canvas. This property makes it easier to apply even layers of paint and prevents unwanted differences in texture in your work.

Practical tip for long-lasting use
Store your oil paint in a cool, dry place and make sure the cap is always tightly closed. Keeping the tube upside down helps the paint stay fluid for longer. Note that oil paint is compatible with traditional artist brushes and oil painting mediums such as turpentine or linseed oil for thinning.
