When do you choose this product?
When do you need a cat's tongue brush?
A cat's tongue brush is indispensable for detail and precision work with oil and acrylic paint. Thanks to its flat shape with a rounded tip, you can fill broad areas as well as paint fine lines and contours. This versatile brush shape is ideal for portraits, landscapes and still lifes where you want to combine different techniques in a single work.
Why size 2 is the right choice
Size 2 offers the perfect balance between detail and coverage. You can use it to fill small areas efficiently without the brush becoming too coarse for precision work. This size is suitable for medium-sized canvases and canvas panels where you want to work out both details and somewhat larger areas.
Synthetic fibres for both paint types
The gold-coloured synthetic fibres are specially developed for use with both oil and acrylic paint. These fine synthetic filaments hold their shape well and are easier to clean than natural hair. The synthetic material is more durable and less sensitive to the aggressive solvents used with oil paint.
Durable construction for long-term use
The flat, seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule keeps the fibres firmly in place and prevents them from coming loose while you paint. The long, lacquered handle gives you more control and keeps your hand further away from the wet painting. After use, it is best to clean the brush with turpentine for oil paint or warm water for acrylic paint.
