This Van Gogh cat's tongue brush gives you exactly the control you need for smooth paint strokes. The fine synthetic fibres and sturdy brass ferrule ensure years of enjoyment with your oil or acrylic work.
When do you choose this product?
When do you use a cat's tongue brush?
A cat's tongue brush is recognisable by its flattened, oval shape that resembles a cat's tongue. This type of brush is ideal for painting broad, flowing lines and for blending colours directly on the canvas. You mainly use it when you want to switch between detail work and flat areas without having to change brushes.
Why choose size 24?
Size 24 is a medium-sized brush that offers versatility in your painting work. With this size, you can handle both smaller details and broader areas. The size gives you control over your brushstrokes without being too small for efficient flat work or too large for more precise passages.
Advantages of synthetic fibres
The gold-coloured synthetic fibres in this brush have been specially developed for both oil and acrylic paint. Synthetic hairs retain their shape better than natural hairs and are easier to clean. They absorb less paint, giving you more control over the amount of paint you apply.
Practical features of this brush
The seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the bristles stay firmly in place and do not come loose while you paint. The long, lacquered handle gives you a good grip and keeps your hand further away from the wet painting. This brush is suitable for all paint consistencies and techniques where you need a cat's tongue shape.
