This flat watercolour brush from Van Gogh gives you precise, even strokes thanks to its synthetic bristles and sturdy brass ferrule. Comfortable in the hand thanks to the short, glossy handle, ideal for detailed watercolour work.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a flat watercolour brush?
A flat watercolour brush is used for applying broad areas of paint, creating sharp lines and rectangular shapes. This brush is ideal when you want to fill large surfaces or need precisely defined edges in your watercolour painting.
Why choose size 16?
Size 16 offers you the perfect balance between coverage and control. With this medium-sized brush, you can handle both detailed work and larger areas without constantly having to switch brushes. The size is versatile enough for most watercolour techniques.
Advantages of synthetic hairs
The golden synthetic fibres of this Van Gogh brush have been specially developed for watercolour paint. Synthetic hairs hold their shape better than natural hair and are easier to clean. The brush head can absorb a large amount of water, allowing you to work flexibly with your watercolour technique.
Durable construction for long-lasting use
The seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the hairs stay firmly in place and do not come loose while you paint. The short, glossy-lacquered handle gives you optimal control during your work and sits comfortably in the hand. After use, always store the brush lying flat to preserve its shape.
