Quality watercolour brush with synthetic hairs that create beautifully flat strokes. The sturdy brass ferrule and short handle give you optimal control while painting.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a flat watercolour brush?
A flat watercolour brush is used for applying large areas of paint, creating broad strokes and making straight lines. The flat shape of this brush makes it ideal for landscapes, backgrounds and geometric shapes in your watercolour work.
Why choose size 10?
Size 10 gives you a good balance between control and coverage. You can use it to fill medium-sized areas efficiently while still doing fairly detailed work. This size is versatile enough for most watercolour techniques without your brush being too large or too small for your project.
Benefits of gold-coloured synthetic fibres
The gold-coloured synthetic fibres of this Van Gogh brush are specially developed for watercolour paint. Synthetic hairs hold their shape well and are more durable than natural hair. They take up water and paint optimally and release them evenly, which is important for achieving beautiful colour gradations in watercolour.
Practical details for long-term use
The seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures that the hairs stay firmly in place and do not come loose while painting. The short, glossy-lacquered handle gives you good control over the brush and is easy to keep clean. After use, store the brush lying flat or hang it with the tip pointing downwards to extend its lifespan.
