What is a flexible brush pen?
This STABILO Brush Pen 68 brush felt-tip pen has a flexible brush tip that lets you create different line widths by adjusting the pressure. Touch lightly to get thin lines, and press harder to make the lines thicker. This makes the pen versatile for a wide range of creative applications.

When should you choose this mid-grey variant?
Mid-grey is a neutral colour that works perfectly with hand lettering projects where you want to add subtle accents without being too eye-catching. This colour is also ideal for creating shadows beneath text or drawings, and for underlining important passages without the strong impact of black.

Advantage of the flexible brush tip
The flexible brush tip sets this felt-tip pen apart from ordinary pens, because you can vary the line thickness within a single stroke. This is achieved purely by adjusting your pressure, allowing you to create smooth transitions from thin to thick. It is easy to handle, so even beginners can quickly get used to the technique.

Practical tip for use
This felt-tip pen uses water-based inks, which ensures even colour release and less show-through on paper. Always start with light pressure to practise the line variation before beginning your final project. For hand lettering projects, you can combine this mid-grey pen well with black or darker colours to create a sense of depth.
