What does this product do?
The STABILO kwastpen 68 is a felt-tip pen with a flexible brush tip that lets you vary the line width by adjusting the pressure. This pen has been specially developed for creative DIY applications such as hand lettering, colouring in, highlighting, underlining and creating shading effects. Thanks to the water-based ink, you can create subtle transitions and effects.

Why choose the flexible brush tip?
The flexible brush tip sets this pen apart from ordinary felt-tip pens, as you can control the line width yourself. Light pressure gives you fine lines for details, while more pressure produces broader strokes for fills or accents. This versatility makes one pen suitable for different techniques within the same project.

Benefits of water-based ink
The water-based shades ensure a smooth ink flow and make the pen easy to use. This ink formulation produces natural colour transitions and blends well for gradient effects. The blue-green colour offers a fresh, modern shade that combines well with other colours from the STABILO 68 range.

Practical tip for use
Always start with light pressure to find the desired line width before making your final strokes. For hand lettering, you can create thin upstrokes by touching the pen lightly and thick downstrokes by applying more pressure. Store the pen horizontally to keep the flexible tip in optimal condition, and prevent it from drying out by screwing the cap on tightly.
