What does a flexible brush tip do?
This STABILO felt-tip pen has a flexible brush tip that lets you vary the line width by adjusting the pressure. Pressing harder or softer gives you different stroke widths, which is ideal for creative applications. The water-based ink ensures a smooth writing experience without drying out.

When should you choose this flexible variant?
Choose this flexible brush tip if you want to combine different line effects in a single pen. This makes it perfect for hand lettering projects where you need both thin and thick lines. For colouring in drawings, the variable line width also offers more control than an ordinary felt-tip pen.

Ideal for DIY applications
This pen is specially developed for creative DIY projects such as hand lettering, colouring in, highlighting, underlining and creating shadows. The light action makes extended use comfortable, while the flexible tip adapts to your movements. This allows you to effortlessly switch between different techniques.

Practical tip for optimal use
Always start with light pressure to get to know the flexibility of the tip before you begin your final project. The water-based ink dries quickly, so make sure you replace the cap properly after use. For hand lettering techniques, first practise the pressure variation on a separate sheet of paper.
