What does this brush pen do?
The STABILO 68 brush is a special felt-tip pen with a flexible brush tip, allowing you to vary the line width by adjusting the pressure. This felt-tip pen has been developed for creative DIY applications where you need more control than with an ordinary felt-tip pen. Thanks to the flexible tip, you can make both fine lines and broader strokes.

When should you choose the flexible brush tip?
You choose this brush variant when you want to do hand lettering, colouring in, accentuating, underlining or adding shadows to your work. The flexible tip gives you the freedom to adjust your line thickness to what you are drawing or writing, without having to switch pens. This makes it ideal for calligraphy and decorative lettering.

Advantage of water-based ink
This felt-tip pen uses water-based inks, which means the ink flows evenly and is less likely to dry out during use. Water-based ink also ensures consistent colour output and is kinder to both the user and the environment than alcohol- or solvent-based alternatives.

Practical tip for use
Always start with light pressure to get used to how the flexible tip responds. By gradually increasing the pressure, you will discover the full range of line widths possible. Store the pen horizontally or with the tip pointing downwards to maintain optimal ink flow and to prevent the tip from drying out.
