What are vacuum bags and when do you use them?
Vacuum bags are specialised packaging bags that let you draw air out of products for longer shelf life and compact storage. You mainly use them for keeping food, documents or other items that need protecting against moisture and air.

Why choose the 30 × 40 cm size?
This medium size of 30 × 40 cm offers versatility for different applications. You can use it to pack both smaller portions of food and larger items such as clothing or documents. The size is practical enough for household use without taking up too much space in storage.

Heat resistance up to 70 degrees
These vacuum bags are resistant to temperatures up to 70 degrees for 2 hours. This means you can use them for sous-vide cooking at lower temperatures or for storing items that may generate light heat. The bags have a thickness of 75 micrometres, which provides sufficient sturdiness.

Sealing at 100-180 degrees
To seal these bags, you need a vacuum sealer that can deliver a sealing temperature between 100 and 180 degrees. Most household vacuum sealers fall within this temperature range. With 100 pieces per pack, you have enough stock for regular use without having to reorder new bags constantly.
