What does this network cable do?
A Cat. 8.1 network cable is designed for the fastest network connections in professional environments. You need this cable when you want to connect devices that require extremely high data speeds, such as servers, switches or high-end workstations. The 1.0 metre length makes this cable ideal for short connections within server cabinets or between devices placed directly next to each other.

Why the shielded S/FTP design?
This cable has an S/FTP (shielded) design with PIMF technology, which means that each wire pair is individually shielded against electromagnetic interference. This is essential in environments with a lot of electronic equipment, where signal loss or disruption can occur. The double shielding ensures that you maintain a stable connection even with intensive network traffic.

LSZH sheath for safety
The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath is an important safety feature that is especially relevant in offices and data centres. In the event of heating or fire, this sheath produces minimal smoke and no toxic halogen gases. This makes the cable suitable for installation in ceilings, floors or other enclosed spaces where fire safety is a priority.

Practical installation features
The RJ45 connectors are fully shielded and have gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and guarantee a reliable connection. The black strain relief boot prevents damage to the cable when it is plugged and unplugged frequently. Thanks to the 1:1 wiring, you can use the cable directly between all standard network equipment without adapters.
