With this Cat. 8.1 cable, you can get super-fast internet at home, ideal for gaming and streaming. The sturdy shielding ensures stable connections without interference.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a Cat. 8.1 network cable?
You use a Cat. 8.1 network cable when you need the highest network performance in your office or data centre. This type of cable is specially developed for professional applications where maximum speed and reliability are essential. You choose this cable for servers, switches and other critical network connections.
Why choose this 1.0 metre length?
The 1.0 metre length is ideal for short connections within a server rack or between devices that are close together. This compact length prevents unnecessary cable clutter and ensures a neat installation. You mainly use this length in situations where you need to connect devices directly to each other without bridging a large distance.
What does the S/FTP shielding mean?
The S/FTP shielding (geschirmt PIMF) offers maximum protection against electromagnetic interference. This cable has both overall shielding and individual shielding per wire pair, which minimises signal loss. The copper conductors and gold-plated contacts ensure stable connections, even in environments with a lot of electronic equipment.
Practical benefits for everyday use
The LSZH sheath produces less smoke when heated, which is important for safety in office environments. The RJ45 connectors are gold-plated and fitted with black strain relief boots, providing extra protection against damage. The cable printing with category and cable type makes identification easy during installation or maintenance.
