When do you need coloured drawing paper?
CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper in Alaska blue is ideal when you want to work on a coloured background instead of white paper. This paper gives your drawings an immediately distinctive look and is perfect for artists who like to experiment with contrast and colour techniques.

Why choose this specific size?
The 500 × 650 mm format gives you enough room for medium to large drawings without the paper becoming unwieldy. This size works well in both portrait and landscape orientation and gives you the freedom to develop compositions without being limited by the paper size.

The benefits of 160 g/m² paper
With a weight of 160 g/m², this drawing paper has a sturdy structure that withstands various drawing techniques. The paper is heavy enough to prevent cockling, yet not so thick that it becomes difficult to work with. This thickness ensures the paper lies flat while you draw and makes professional results possible.

Practical considerations when using it
The pack contains 10 sheets, which is handy for a series of drawings or for experimenting without buying a large stock straight away. Store the paper flat in a dry environment to prevent curling. The Alaska blue paper works particularly well with white, yellow and warm colours that contrast beautifully with the blue background.
