When do you need textured drawing paper?
CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper has been specially developed for dry techniques such as pastel, charcoal, chalk and pencil. You choose this paper when you want to create artworks that benefit from a light texture that holds pigment well. The dark brown surface offers a warm base that is particularly suitable for portraits and nature studies.

Why this 500×650 mm size?
This large size gives you plenty of room for extensive drawings without being restricted in your composition. The 500×650 mm size is ideal for artists who like to work on larger studies or when you want to work out a lot of detail. The paper is large enough for both landscapes and life-size portraits.

The benefit of 160 g/m² paper weight
At 160 g/m², this drawing paper has a sturdy character that withstands intensive working with various drawing materials. This weight prevents the paper from curling or tearing when using pastels or when erasing charcoal. The paper stays flat while you work and keeps its shape.

Practical storage tip
The pack contains 10 sheets, which is a handy quantity for an art project or course. Store unused sheets flat in the original packaging to prevent creasing. The dark brown surface can serve as a neutral base, so you need less white or light colours to create contrast in your artwork.
