When do you need coloured drawing paper?
CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper is suitable for anyone creating with dry techniques such as wax crayon, chalk, charcoal, sanguine, pencil and coloured pencils. You choose coloured paper when you want to use the background colour as part of your artwork, so you need to colour in less white and your drawings gain more depth.

Why choose this size and colour?
The 500×650 mm format offers enough space for medium-sized artworks and portraits without the paper becoming unwieldy. The poppy red colour gives your drawings a warm, vibrant base that works especially well for portraits, flowers and landscapes where you want to emphasise red tones or make complementary colours stand out.

The strength of 160 g/m² paper weight
At 160 g/m², this paper has the right sturdiness to carry several layers of material without tearing or bending. It is heavy enough to withstand intensive use of wax crayon, chalk and charcoal, yet not so heavy that it becomes difficult to work with. This thickness also prevents your drawing from curling while you work.

Practical benefits of this pack
You receive 10 sheets, which is ideal for creating a series of drawings or experimenting with different techniques on the same colour. Store unused sheets flat in a portfolio or drawing folder to prevent creases. The Mi-Teintes paper has a lightly textured surface that holds dry techniques well without showing too much grain.
