When do you need drawing card?
Drawing card is used for drawings with dry techniques such as pastels, charcoal, chalk and pencils. The thick paper of 160 g/qm offers the sturdiness you need for intensive drawing without the paper tearing or sagging under pressure.

Why choose the 500 × 650 mm size?
This large size gives you plenty of room for extensive artworks and detailed drawings. You can make several smaller studies on it or create one large piece. The size is ideal if you like to make grand compositions or want to work out fine details without being limited by the paper size.

What makes the indigo colour special?
Indigo is a deep blue-purple shade that provides a rich, warm background for your artwork. This coloured background makes light accents such as white chalk or pastel stand out even more and immediately gives your drawings more depth and contrast. You don't need to colour the entire sheet because the base already has a lovely tone.

Practical considerations with this pack
The pack contains 10 sheets, which is handy for a series of drawings or for experimenting with different compositions. Keep the sheets flat and dry to prevent curling. CANSON Mi-Teintes has a lightly textured surface that holds pastels and charcoal well, so you need to fix less while drawing.
